Which software is suitable for my video conference?

When choosing the right software for your video conferencing, various criteria should be taken into account. Do you need the tool primarily for communicating with employees who work remotely? MS Teams

Microsoft Teams offers everything you need for virtual teamwork: Group chats, surveys, shared file storage and a direct connection to all Office applications, i.e. much more than just a pure video call function. Before starting a video conference, various settings can be made and checked, for example whether the camera and microphone are activated. The participants can easily share their screen. The entire meeting can also be recorded. If you want to plan a meeting in advance, you can send a suitable appointment to selected people via Outlook, who then confirm their attendance with a single click.

 

Zoom

An alternative to MS Teams that is becoming increasingly popular is Zoom. Similar to Microsoft's software, Zoom is also perfectly tailored to the needs of companies. Zoom also offers various functions that create optimal conditions for all-round successful video conferences, including chat and file functions, virtual backgrounds and recording options. We recommend taking a look at the integrated whiteboard. Here, participants can create mind maps, shared notes and much more. Zoom can be easily connected to other tools such as Microsoft Office, Gmail or Slack and even enables large video conferences with up to 1,000 participants.
