LCD display

LED displays

LED displays (light-emitting diode) use light-emitting diodes through which an electric current flows and causes the diodes to light up. LED technologies built into the display itself are mainly used for digital signage applications that do not require a high resolution. LED displays ensure that individual areas of the image remain dark while other areas are particularly bright. This makes LED displays particularly suitable for outdoor use.

OLED displays

OLED displays (organic light diode) combine the best of LCD and LED technology and thus ensure a unique, brilliant, high-contrast picture quality. The innovative OLED displays are so bright that they do not require any backlighting. The displays also excel in terms of brightness and rich blacks. A particular plus: texts are still easy to read even at extreme angles. The particularly thin, filigree displays impress with their delicate design and ensure a smooth transition to the wall. Due to their sensitivity to humidity and temperature fluctuations, however, they are no match for LEDs in outdoor applications.
